Rising and Quickheal Antivirus

Rising Global is an antivirus company from Beijing, China. While it probably isn't a household name it has a lot of potential. In fact, I saw the antivirus software sold in almost every computer store I went to in China. What's also interesting is that there are definitely a lot of viruses and malware in China. I've gotten a USB thumb drive virus and other worms just by having my computer connected to the internet. I wasn't sure how I ever got that worm :). Regardless, one could expect that where there are a lot of viruses there is also a great antivirus product to match. This is Rising-Global software antivirus 2009. The software company is on the front lines of the virus war.
The program main selling point is its unattended functionality. The software tries to do as many functions possible without alerting the user. This is actually one of the primary things people actually want in security software. I also really liked the instant message scanning technology. I can't tell your how many times I get a spammy or malicious website from MSN instant messaging. Finally, the software also has 100 percent accuracy rating in detecting viruses according to the antivirus auditing group virus bulletin. Give Rising software a try!

Quick heal is another international antivirus. The software has its roots in India. Unfortunately, the site is somewhat lacking in describing the details of the product. However, Quick heal has a unique boot time scanning feature. Essentially, Quickheal has the ability to scan all your files including protected files before Windows starts up. This will avoid many of the pitfalls associated with other antivirus software and their inability to delete the currently used process and files/viruses. Quickheal Total Security also has the capability to scan and delete viruses on your cell phone or PDA. This segment will be an important one in the next 3 to 5 yrs. Quickheal also offers a remote support feature where they can connect to your computer and repair it if necessary as allowed by you. This will allow a virus removal professional to assist you in even the most sticky situations.
Just a quick story. I went to both Rising and Quickheal's website. Rising has a Medium Alert and Quick heal has a Normal Alert. I guess that just goes to show you how each of these antivirus are fairly localized. They simply respond to different threats.
